The New York Times has reported that seven years ago, Tom Sachs collaborated with Nike on a shoe for Tommaso Rivellini, a mechanical engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., using the same material Rivellini used to invent airbags for Mars rovers.

One of the most highly releases for Air Max Day 2018 approaches was the Sean Wotherspoon Nike Air Max 97/1 hybrid. Wotherspoon’s design won Nike’s RevolutionAir Design contest from Air Max Day 2017 and comes equipped with a retro color palette and corduroy material on its racing stripes.

TBrain Dead founder Kyle Ng is no stranger to footwear collaborations. In 2018 they started working with Converse on a special pair of Chuck 70s that utilize a plethora of powerful prints from Converse’s archives, dating all the way back to 1983.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 is a sneaker designed by Kanye West and adidas. It was first revealed during the Yeezy Season 5 fashion show in February, 2017, and later officially released on August 12th, 2017.

OFF-WHITE UNC
Following the release of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 in White, Virgil Abloh released a “Powder Blue” colorway in June 2018. Dressed in a White, Cone, and Dark Powder Blue color scheme. This Air Jordan 1 had a UNC-like vibe. Featuring a White upper, Powder Blue overlays, Black text, and Orange accents.
